Rocky Mountain Sledders is the newest snowmobile club in the Salt Lake Valley. RMS is a very forward thinking club, with younger more aggressive members. The board members are young business professionals that have a modern view on what a sled club should be.
Rocky Mountain Sledders is the first snowmobile club in the state of Utah to accomplish 501-C3 non-profit status. We are currently working with Internal Revenue Service to receive our complete 501-C3 status. This will be a major accomplishment for both Rocky Mountain Sledders and our sponsors.
Rocky Mountain Sledders has a web site www.rockymountainsledders.com. RMS is one of the few clubs in the state of Utah to have their own web sites. RMS is very active in the Utah Snowmobile Association (USA), our club President is the Vice President of the USA. RMS is one of the very few snowmobile clubs in the state to have a dedicated board position to monitor land issues, it is critical in the fight to save our rights to have a place to ride.
Our club is made of many different types of people. Some ride a lot, others can only ride a few times a year. Some are great riders and some only like the trails. Some are active in club functions and others are only members so that their number will count in the fight against land closures. No matter what type of member you want to be you will be welcome into our club.
